Optical
California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA) operates two optical laboratories within the State of California. PIA provides prescription eyewear to clients of the California Medical Assistance Program, also referred to as the Medi-Cal Program. In addition, PIA provides prescription safety eyewear to maintenance staff employed by government agencies throughout California.
